Jeg har modtaget følgende info fra IAU. Måske er det relevant for nogle af jer 🙂
The IAU Strategic Plan 2020-2030 indicates a desire for the IAU to foster stronger relations between the large community of amateur astronomers and the professional astronomers who are members of the IAU. Accordingly, the IAU Executive Committee recently formed a Working Group for Pro-Am Relations. These Pro-Am initiatives will be co-organized with the IAU Office for Astronomy Outreach who has a strong amateur astronomers’ representation within its central network of representatives, the IAU National Outreach Coordinators (NOCs), and associate communities.
The EC WG sees several mutual benefits for both groups of astronomers by having stronger pro-am relations especially in terms of research collaborations involving amateur astronomers working with IAU members and joint outreach and public engagement initiatives. The Pro-Am WG is also planning biennial meetings on best practices, to highlight the many successful projects undertaken by amateur astronomers at the research and outreach level and it will build on the previous successful meeting in Brussels held in April 2019.
The goal of our IAU workgroup is to provide knowledge and resources to promote the inclusion practices in astronomy outreach. It is simpler than people may think, and there are a “starter kit” and a community to help! The starting point can be this short introductory video: https://drive.google.com/file/d/18lOR08u-o2Sz6Ud_NHb68dnYP73gwK_v/view?usp=sharing
