I PHD guider er der under fanen Dec. Algoritm to valgmugligheder ( Lovpassfilter ) og ( Resist switchning ) hvad er forskellen mellem de to og hvad betyder de egentlig.

Declination guiding is not like RA guiding as the errors are not caused by imperfections in your mount’s gears but by being imperfectly aligned to the pole. The result is an error that should be smooth and should be in only one direction. Depending on you mount and your alignment, the best way to do this varies and PHD Guiding gives two options.

In one, “Lowpass filter”, the Declination guiding is smoothed over time. It works well if you are close to the pole and need only a smooth guide adjustment.

In the other “Resist switching”, normal guide commands are sent and the guiding is more reactive, but PHD still attempts to remain on the same side of the worm gear and to not switch directions unless absolutely necessary.

På dansk – som jeg forstår det:

Ved denne funktion udglattes deklinations guidingen efterhånden. Virker bedst hvis monteringen er sat præcist op, så det kun er nødvendigt med små udglattende korrektioner.

Dette er en mere normal guiding, hvor der reageres mere ”aggresivt”.
MEN, PHD prøver stadig kun at lave korrektioner den ene vej – (på den samme side af snekken …on the same side of the worm gear) for at undgå at der skal skiftes retning på deklinationsmotoren – med mindre det ikke kan ungås.

Det skulle være nogelunde rigtigt, ellers må andre komme med deres input.

Takker Mogens, jeg havde den lige inde i Googles oversætter, og fik noget mere mening med det. Har haft nogle aftner hvor den er komme ud med fejl på RA aksen, kan så se at jeg ikke har været alt for god med min pol opsætning. Køre normalt med Lowpas filter, og har ikke haft de store problemer, så det skal vi da lige havde gjort lidt bedre.
